Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15 1997 in Stavanger and is professionally known as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized as AURORA is an Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval from bloggers as well as the media. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was recorded to accompany an advertisement for John Lewis, and Nature Boy is a Nat King Cole cover. Her name was also recognized via a blog post from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her track Runaway. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered an old grand piano hidden in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see the possibilities it offered. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music, not as a job or a hobby and as a way to develop. So she started with her own music. As well as Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her mother had said that her songs can not only aid in her efforts to achieve fame but also make others see their importance in the world and realize the possibilities for her songs, she decided to begin playing in front of the public. When she began playing the piano, she was six years old and began writing music when she was nine. Her family didn't be aware until 14. The dream was never to become Aurora. The singer says that she simply likes to compose music. She claims that music is her preferred method of feeling anything.
